License Agreements

1. Introduction

This License Agreement governs the use of the PECT software package, developed by a research team under the leadership of Professor Carole Voulgaris at Harvard University. By using this software, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement. If you do not accept these terms, you must discontinue using the software immediately.

2. License Grant

The PECT Software is provided free of charge for academic and research purposes. Under this Agreement, the User is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Software for the intended purposes. The User may: - Use the Software for academic research, publications, and presentations, ensuring that the original authors are cited appropriately. - Share the Software with other academic or research institutions for collaborative projects, ensuring that the original authors are cited appropriately. - Modify the source code, provided that any changes are documented and attributed to the original authors.

3. Restrictions

The User is prohibited from: - Using the Software for commercial purposes without prior written consent. - Redistributing the Software in a modified form without including the original license agreement. - Removing, obscuring, or altering any copyright notices or disclaimers.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the authors of the Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or reliance on the Software.
